About Ragini Karuturi

I'm a software engineer who enjoys breaking down problems, exploring different approaches, and finding the right solution for each use case. I'm curious about the trade-offs behind technical decisions and how individual pieces of code fit into the larger system.

I currently work as a Software Engineer at Dhan AI, having previously interned at Google. These experiences have helped me understand the engineering process beyond coding, from planning and documenting ideas to iterating on designs and building reliable solutions.

I see every project as an opportunity to learn, challenge my thinking, and become a better engineer.

  • Developed a customer-facing telecom portal that enables business users to manage accounts and contacts, make payments, and view and compare billing invoices, reducing dependency on support agents for routine services.
  • Developed an integration layer to coordinate multiple backend microservices and expose unified APIs for the portal.
  • Implemented Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and integrated Firebase Authentication for secure sign-in and user permission management.
  • Designed and built features for managing organization accounts, user contacts, and invoice comparisons.
  • Implemented a caching architecture to improve application response times and reduce redundant backend service calls.

Software Engineer Intern

  • Developed scalable backend services for a customer-facing telecom platform using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Worked across 3–4 microservices, understanding their architecture, communication flows, and dependencies while documenting key workflows.
